To further enhance your ignition system, we recommend a range of accessories specifically designed to complement the Classic Twin. Opt for the Tri-Spark 6V high-performance coils (2 required for twins) for optimal performance, and choose from our selection of spark plug leads, including the right angle coil end or straight coil end, tailored to your bike's requirements. Complete the setup with spark plug caps for reliable ignition performance.

For single-cylinder bikes, we offer the Tri-Spark 12V high-performance coil and corresponding spark plug leads and caps to ensure a seamless fit for your unique configuration.

While the Classic Twin is primarily designed for parallel twins with a 360-degree crank configuration, it can also be adapted for engines with offset cranks, such as 270-degree setups. Simply add the Offset Crank Rotor to your cart and specify the required degrees and bike model in the note section upon check-out to ensure a customised fit.

NOTE: This ignition superseds the Classic Twin TRI-0005A and TRI-0005B as we have eliminated the two A/B versions.  The Classic Twin ignition stator unit TRI-0006 can be used as a replacement for the earlier versions, however the installation is different and you must use the installation manual for your version.  See our Technical Page for installation manuals

Well worth the time spent - Effortless kickstartin

Bought this with a pair of coils and threw it all in over an evening and had it running again by bedtime :P - everything you need comes in the kit, you just need some basic tools hand tools, I suggest a good ratchet wire crimper or access to someone that does - only slight snag was pulling the old Points assembly out of the case, you generally need a slide hammer and parts places sell specific ones for your bike or use the provided bolt with your own one, In a pinch I had to use a big impact socket as an improvised slide hammer but it all works - I kept the carbs and old points Ignition on my Norton Commando in pretty good spec I reckoned but it was always a bit of a dance to cold start, one trick worked one day and not the next, it was always a guess to figure out what magic was needed to get it to fire off each time, upwards of 10 kicks needed to get it running - with the tri spark it starts on the first kick and it is also the same cold start procedure every time now, there is no longer any guess work, tickle the carbs, crack the throttle, kick it once, and its running - wish I had done it years ago!

Tri Spark for Norton Commando M111

I recently installed a new Tri Spark ignition and a single twin lead 12 volt coil for my Norton Commando Mk111. I deinstalled an older version of another brand with a black box installed under the fuel tank. The old system was running intermittently on one cylinder. It was so good to get rid of the black box and the two ugly coils. The Tri Spark was easy to follow the instructions and straightforward in setting the timing. The bike runs so smoothly now, I am happy that any kick back due to starting is solved as I have recently installed a new sprag clutch kit and feel comfortable that this is protected. This point was a selling point for me, especially as the Mk111 Nortons are prone to being hard on the sprag clutch's. The other reason for the choice is that the products are Australian made and the company is always researching new products. I spoke to the top man Steve Kelly a number of times about issues I was concerned with and he couldn't have been more helpfull. A great product. Thanks Tri Spark. Wayne

I tried 2 different Electronic igns. On my Norton Commando. One kicked like a mule but idled lovely. The other Started great but would sometimes stall in the most inappropriate places. Fitted Trispark, starts first kick even on a slow kickover. Very much like points ignition ! Don,t waste your money on any other Ignition !

I recently purchased a Tri Spark digital ignition along with the recommended coils, leads & plug caps for my T140 750 Bonneville. It has completely transformed the bike. It now starts, idles and runs better than any Triumph I have ever ridden in 63 years. I can’t believe how smooth it is and no more stumbling or worrying about it running on 1 cylinder anymore. This is the best money anyone can spend on a classic bike. I would gladly pay twice the amount for your amazing ignition system. Just Brilliant. Thank you so much. Ian McLeod.

I purchased a Tri-Spark ignition for my Norton Commando and I'm pleased to say that it immediately solved all my ignition woes. I had tried other products, but none worked as effectively, both in terms of starting and idling, as the Tri-Spark. It was simple to install, required no maintenance whatsoever and was extremely reliable. When I required after sales support, the problem was solved immediately and at no cost. Unfortunately, it's rare these days to see a company stand behind their product beyond the bare minimum and it was refreshing and gratifying to discover that Tri-Spark was the exception to this rule. Their quality and integrity were very impressive. I would definitely recommend this ignition without reserve. Marc Brown
